Four appointments you must make to comply with the Construction Regulations 2014. Or face hefty penalties!
One of the main focuses of the Construction Regulations 2014 is to enforce stricter control measures.
To comply, you need to make six appointments for your construction site.
Let's take a closer look at what Construction Regulation 8 says about who you need to appoint to manage and supervise your construction work.
Four construction site appointments you need to make
1. Construction Manager
The construction manager has the duty of managing all the construction work on a single site. He must ensure occupational health and safety compliance.
2. Assistant Construction Managers
This appointment depends on the size of your site.
3. Health and Safety Manager
This can be a full or part-time position because you would base the appointment on the size of the project. The health and safety officer must have full training and have documents to prove it.
4. Construction Supervisors
They will be responsible for construction activities. And also have to ensure OSH compliance on the project.
