The baseline audit is an audit of all or part of a health and safety system. You'll use the results as a point of comparison (a baseline) when a future audit's performed.

The baseline audit will help you see if there have been improvements or declines in your company's health and safety performance. The other three risk audits need to be done on a frequent basis:

The consultative audit is when your team performs the audit and presents their findings.

To set up your level of compliance and how effective it is, you need to conduct a formal systems audit.

And lastly, you need to conduct your legal compliance audit to make sure you're meeting the necessary requirements.

The good news for you is that these audits can be used as both internal and external audits.
