Employment Equity:
A policy or programme designed to reserve jobs for people formerly disadvantaged under apartheid

With fines as high as R900 000 and the possibility of criminal charges, you seriously can't afford to be caught on the wrong side of the law when it comes to EE

Find out how to get it right the first time around…

Dear Reader,

The DoL is on the war path!

You see, the Department of Labour (DoL) believes organisations haven't done enough to implement Employment Equity (EE). So they've put together two levels of inspection to monitor it within organisations.

The first level of inspector will just drop in unannounced in teams of up to five people which have the authority to issue compliance orders to companies that aren't compliant.

The second level are two-men auditing teams designated with the responsibility to audit a company's implementation of EE. Each of these teams has been set the target of auditing a minimum of 40 companies per year.

The days when EE could be ignored are over! The DoL is getting serious about compliance.

The question is: How sure are you that your company is complying with everything in the Employment Equity Act?

With fines as high as R900 000 and the possibility of criminal charges, you seriously can't afford to be caught on the wrong side of the law when it comes to EE.

But there's no need to worry.

FSP Business gives you everything you need to know to prepare, implement and report your EE policy on a compact, easy-to-read cd…

Employment Equity made easy!
