An employee was dismissed on 1 December, is she still entitled to her December bonus?

We communicated to our workforce that a bonus will be paid in December. Their contracts state that they're entitled to a bonus at managements' discretion.

One of our employees was however dismissed on 1 December for destruction of company property due to negligence. As she needs to receive her termination benefits, I would like to confirm if the bonus should be part of the benefits, or if we're entitled (as with the severance pay) not to pay the bonus due to the dismissal?
