If your employees look more like zombies than average citizens, do these three things to improve workplace hygiene

by , 31 October 2014
Take a look around your workplace. What do you see?

Do you see a bunch of groaning zombies or are those just your sick employees?

It could all be because of germs and bacteria in your workplace.

If this is the case, you need to do something to clean up and improve hygiene in your workplace before your entire workforce ends up sick.

Here are three things you can do today to improve hygiene...

Improve workplace hygiene by doing these three things

1. Ensure there's always soap in the toilets and that they're always clean. This sounds simple enough but your toilets are where the most bacteria grows.

Plus if there's no soap, your employees will walk out of the bathroom with dirty hands and they'll spread the bacteria around your entire workplace.

2. Employ someone to clean your office kitchen everyday. If your kitchen is filthy, it could spread bacteria to your employees' food.

Use strong detergents to clean counters, plates and even the fridge. This will reduce the spread of germs and bacteria in your kitchen.

3. Ensure your employees keep their desks clean. Because they spend all day, everyday at their desks, your employees spread germs all over them. This means they're vulnerable to bacteria.

If you employ someone to clean your workplace, get them to clean your employees' desks regularly.

Doing these three simple things will help you clean up your workplace and keep your employees healthy.
