Five background checks you must do before you hire John

You'll only find out if John is right for the job if you conduct thorough background checks. These days employees lie to get the job, so you need to verify everything. After all, the last thing you want is to find out down the line is that John faked his degree.
So, before you hire him, you need to ensure his CV is correct by doing these five background checks:
  1. ID number verification;
  2. Driver's licence verification;
  3. Criminal record checks;
  4. Credit checks; and
  5. Qualification verification.
